The Suite Life On Deck Zack and Cody in Greece Episode 7 Oct 31 8/7C

Posted by admin

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

BE CAREFUL AS YOU GO OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN

AND BE SURE TO BE KIND TO AND PROTECT YOUR ANIMALS

In an episode entitled, “Its All Greek To Me”, the S.S Tipton visits Greece to explore ancient ruins which, it turns out, do not impress Zack. Cody and Bailey cruise Athens Athena-style, and Woody fails to impress the Prime Minister of Greece. Meanwhile, it’s money-madness for London when she thinks shopping in Greece is free.

On their journey, the kids meet a handsome Greek tour guide who seems to fall for Bailey. Ever the underdog and not one to give up easily, Cody gives her what he thinks is a replica of an ancient Greek amulet, when, in fact, its a priceless amulet. When they discover that it’s the real amulet, it’s up to Zack, Cody and Bailey to put it back before anyone notices. From the photo, it looks like they have to pretend to be statues in order to get this done!

High School Musical 3- Interview with Zac Efron

Posted by admin

Movies Online posted a great, in-depth Q & A with Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu and other cast members about High School Musical 3 and a clip is provided below. There is also a link to the rest of the article at the bottom of the page.

I am looking forward to this and who know what they may have in mind for this cast after this is over? Maybe College Musical- Freshman Year? Before you read this, take a look at Zac on Regis and Kelly this AM (Oct 22) talking about the movie (courtesy of You Tube)

Zac Efron Interview, High School Musical 3
Posted By: Sheila Roberts / Source

MoviesOnline caught up with Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu, Matt Prokop, Jemma McKenzie-Brown, Justin Martin, director Kenny Ortega, and producer Bill Borden at the Los Angeles press day for their new film, “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.”

Disney’s High School Musical phenomenon leaps onto the big screen in “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” in which the world’s favorite high school students (Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman) hit senior year. Amidst a basketball championship, prom and a big spring musical featuring all of the Wildcats, Troy (Efron) and Gabriella (Hudgens) vow to make every moment last as their lifelong college dreams put the future of their relationship in question. A crew of sophomore Wildcats (Matt Prokop, Justin Martin, Jemma McKenzie-Brown) joins in the fun as the film’s incredible new music and exciting dance numbers take maximum advantage of the big screen.
Here’s what the director, producer and cast had to tell us:
MoviesOnline: THIS MUSICAL TRILOGY HAS BEEN SUCH A PHENOMENON, I’VE BEEN WONDERING HOW YOU PLAN TO TRANSITION INTO MORE ADULT ROLES.

CORBIN BLEU: It’s all about range. We as artists, we’re never satisfied. So you’ve got to always continue to stretch yourself. I’m focusing on getting some more in-depth roles. It would be nice to truly challenge myself, stretch a little bit more. I’m also interested in just expanding into other art forms as well. I’m working on music, I’m into the studio working on my second album, and I’m also producing. I produced a film with my father called “Free Style” which is about motocross and will be out in January in theatres.

ZAC EFRON: Before “High School Musical 3” I filmed a movie called “17 Again”, playing a 37-year-old guy in a 17-year-old’s body. That was interesting. And then right after that I filmed a movie called “Me And Orson Welles,” more of a drama, set in 1937, about the Mercury Theatre troupe putting on a production of Julius Caesar. So two different roles.

MoviesOnline: FOR ZAC, HOW WAS IT KNOWING YOU’D BETTER SAVOR THIS BECAUSE THIS WOULD BE THE LAST ONE, JUST LIKE IN HIGH SCHOOL. ALSO WILL YOU DO “FOOTLOOSE”?

ZAC EFRON: When we were filming “High School Musical,” we took every opportunity to kind of revel in the scenes and dances because we knew this would be the last time we were all together in this capacity, so we were soaking it up. And “Footloose” is coming together, actually. We’re trying to figure out the right way to do it, but yeah, it seems like it could happen.

MoviesOnline: WILL IT BE STARRING YOU?

ZAC EFRON: Yeah, I hope so.

MoviesOnline: WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST?

ZAC EFRON: I don’t know if you can put it all into one specific memory. I think it’s just the environment. It’s been a very safe, creative place for us to work in the last three years. And it’s going to be pretty hard to leave that behind.

MoviesOnline: TROY AND CHAD ARE TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY WANT TO BE. WHAT ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU WERE KIDS?

ZAC EFRON: I had no idea I wanted to be an actor. I went through high school just like all the other guys. I didn’t really have any plans for my future. This was kind of my extra-curricular and my hobby, and I know various doors opened and I went through them and I ended up where I am today.

CORBIN BLEU: You know, it changes. When you’re a kid, you have grand ideas to become a lot of different things. It changed. I wanted to be a marine biologist. I wanted to be a plastic surgeon. Eventually it came down to two directions and it was pediatrician or an actor. Now I can at least play a doctor on TV. I grew up in it, and always knew I wanted the arts in my life. It was just whether it would be a full on career or not, and the time came that I had to make the decision, and I actually decided just to go with what I love doing.

MoviesOnline: KENNY, COULD YOU COMPARE THIS WITH THE PREVIOUS TWO FILMS? WILL THERE BE MORE?

KENNY ORTEGA: You know, we kind of did our best to do each film full-out. Zac says we didn’t leave anything on the dance floor but a pile of sweat. We never came into these movies thinking we were just making a little movie for television. We raised the bar on ourselves, we challenged ourselves every day, we set out to do something special that would some lasting power. I think for “High School Musical 3,” it was special for me in that — I went after “High School Musical 1” because I was hoping that if I do a good job here, maybe this might reveal the curtain on me again. It could be another shot to do a full-length feature motion picture. Little did I ever imagine that “High School Musical” would actually be that full-length motion picture. So for me, moving into “High School Musical 3” was like a real dream fulfilled, so it was just great fun imagining it, designing with it, playing with these guys, but we really kind of set it up the same way. We did have a little bit more money, but we had a lot more lighting and a lot more detail to sort of pay attention to. And we had a little bit more schedule, so we could think a little bigger. And of course we wanted our film to be recognizable. We wanted our audience to immediately recognize where they were and who they were with. We certainly didn’t want to throw the baby out, as they say. We wanted to go for a bigger design, but not lose ourselves in the process.

The Suite Life On Deck-Zack and Cody do Groundhog Day-Episode 6- Oct 24 8/7C

Posted by admin

This week’s episode is called International Dateline and is set to air on Friday, 10/24/08 at 8/7C.

In kind of the same way as the old movie, Groundhog Day, Cody is stuck reliving in the same day over and over after the ship is struck by lightning. In Groundhog Day, Bill Murray was frustrated stuck reliving the same day over and over again and finally learned that by changing some things about his own behavior he landed up changing his relationship with his love interest, Andie McDowell.

Here, Cody tries to use each day as a chance to let Bailey know how he feels about her, but something gets in the way every time. It’s then up to Cody to divert the ship from the lightning to set them back on the right course.

This is a rare Cody-centered plot that allows the development of more attachment to Bailey by Cody and maybe vice versa? We will see…

Here is something extra- a video courtesy of You Tube and MTV TRL of an appearance on Total Request Live by Cole and Dylan Sprouse- Enjoy!

The Suite Life On Deck- Episode 5- Zack and Cody See Showgirls-Oct 17 8/7C

Posted by admin

This episode has two names- one from Disney “Show and Tell” and I’ve seen it called “Showgirls” on other TV listing sites but no matter what it’s called it should be funny.

Zack, ever girl crazy, convinces Cody to sneak out after curfew so they can catch the Starlight Follies show. They manage to make it past the security guards (with great, if not too convincing, mustaches and sailor uniforms) and get into the show and then they see something that surprises them. They think that one of the show girls is their teacher, Miss Tutweiller. Meanwhile, London and Bailey are convinced that Miss Tutweiller and Mr. Moseby are dating and they are trying to prove it.

Last week Bailey tried to cozy up to Cody to win a contest with London over whose animal (her pig vs London’s pampered pooch) was smarter while Zack was attracted to a rich passenger. London was again showcased as a goofy, not too bright, spoiled rich girl, almost a cartoon of herself the way the show’s writers are playing her. I hope she gets more substance as the show goes on. I miss her interactions with Maddie, but hey she (Ashley Tisdale) is busy with HSM3…wonder when we will see her visit the ship?

The Suite Life On Deck- Zack and Cody Episode 4-Oct 10 8/7C-New Romance for Zack

Posted by admin

Episode 4 of The Suite Life on Deck entitled Kidney of the Sea airs on Friday October 10. In this episode, Zack’s romantic focus shifts from Bailey and he develops a crush on a cute passenger, but must deal with her wealthy “boyfriend” and snooty mother who will do anything to keep them apart. Note: The Zack plot of this episode is a parody of the movie Titanic.

Meanwhile, Cody referees an intelligence test between London’s dog Ivana and Bailey’s pet pig Porkers. It will be interesting to see what they do with London in upcoming episodes- her role hasn’t been large and when we see her, its to see her complain and act spoiled…well, she always did that in the Suite Life but it may be getting old. Hope they expand her role a bit.

By the way, its official- The Suite Life on Deck is a hit. Its No. 1 in its time slot which is great news for fans.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, who will celebrate her Sweet 16 at Disneyland this weekend on October 5th, wasn’t born with the name Miley Cyrus. Miley is a nickname given to her by her famous father, Billy Ray Cyrus, because as a baby she was always smiling– which morphed into “Miley”

Her real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus and she recently had her name officially changed to Miley Ray Cyrus. The “Ray” was in honor of her father’s middle name. Her real birthday is November 23rd but she is having the Disneyland party to use her birthday as a benefit for charity.

Check out all of the festivities of her Sweet 16 on a site set up by Disney to commemorate the event on or after October 5.
