Shaman King Season 1 Episode 1 [english dubbed] part 2/2
“The Boy Who Dances with Ghosts”

Manta Oyamada, a shrimpy, studious middle-school student from Tokyo, attempts a shortcut one night through the graveyard to get home after a late night of cram school. While travelling through it, he encounters Yoh Asakura and his “companions”: a graveyard filled with ghosts. Yoh reveals himself to be a shaman, a medium between the world of the living and the world of the dead. Yoh also demonstrates shamans’ ability to unite with ghosts to achieve a shared goal. Quickly after meeting one another, Yoh and Manta become best friends while Yoh uses his shamanic abilities to help them out through various tasks.

The Shaman Fight is a battle held once every 500 years between competing shamans to choose a winner who will become the highly sought-after “Shaman King”, one who is able to contact the Great Spirit (the spirit that every soul will eventually go back to). The winner gains the ability to reshape the world in any way they want. Anna Kyoyama, Yoh’s fiancée, soon enters the picture and prescribes a brutal training regimen, in order to prepare Yoh for the tournament. Thus begins the plot that will lead Yoh on a journey that will lead him to befriend

I am wondering why certain kids watch kids movies, kids cartoons, even commercials like they have never seen television before (too concentrated) when in fact they are watching television since birth. Is this abnormal? Why some kids take it easy and are enjoying social world around them while others are simply lost in TV (wont even listen to their parents or anybody around them when watching TV)

Thats a good question! I don’t know much but my guess would be they are either:

1. Lonely
2. Lazy
3. Have too much time on their hands

All i can seem to remember is that one of the heroes used a sword and another one used a mace, or a larger morningstar, but I can’t remember what it was called, and its starting to irk me a bit, it was on like 10 or so years ago, if anyone knows what i’m talking about i’d like to know please, and it’s not a bloody cartoon, so dont say Captian Planet or Sailor Moon!

You need to be a bit more specific. It describes so many shows.
Immediately I thought maybe something like THE WATER MARGIN, MONKEY ?

Was it a serious show? How about ROAR which starred a young Heath Ledger?

idk really my memory is all fuzzy but i think it use to come on in the mornings on saturday but idk but it was a zombie lookin dead puppet who was like in a graveyard . . . or maybe in was a library in a comfy red expensive chair???? anyway he use to tell scary stories.

Sounds like the cryptkeeper from Tales From the Crypt, an HBO series that definitely wasn’t a Sat morning kiddie show.
…but it does look like they spun off a Sat morning cartoon:

From the 90′s and today?

I think SpongeBob Square Pants has to be up there! I think Hannah Montana is also extremely popular and successful.
Of the 90′s there are so many. I guess it depends where you’re talking but I’d include Power Rangers, Pokemon, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Sister Sister, Rugrats and to an extent Blue Peter.
