Season 2 is finally underway! Coming in August, it caught me by surprise as the premiere of the 1st Season happened in late September last year. The guys are really growing up and to me look totally different than last season and their voices are changing!
In this premiere episode, a microchip with secret information on it goes missing and the twins help a spy, who happens to come aboard in secret, to recover it. The plot has a lot of references to other movies such as the James Bond movie “The Spy Who Loved Me” and also a bunch of references to Inspector Gadget.
When Zack and Cody got the message and were told “This message will self-destruct”. This is similar to the 1983 animated series Inspector Gadget, where every message that Inspector Gadget received from Chief Quimby said “This message will self-destruct” and throws it back to Chief Quimby and explodes.
Watch the beginning of this episode here with more on You Tube in case you missed it or want to see it again.
