Miley is a nickname given to her by her famous father, Billy Ray Cyrus, because as a baby she was always smiling– which morphed into “Miley”

Her real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus and she recently had her name officially changed to Miley Ray Cyrus. The “Ray” was in honor of her father’s middle name. Her real birthday is November 23rd but she is having the Disneyland party to use her birthday as a benefit for charity.
