Debby Ryan’s had a whole lot to celebrate lately…including 16 Wishes. Look out for the ClevverTV breakdown.

Hi everyone – Welcome back to your one stop shop for entertainment news. I’m Joslyn Davis in the studio with some great news on Debby Ryan. The lovely Disney starlet just celebrated her own 17th birthday and in just a few short weeks she’ll celebrate another big milestone in her life.

Debby’s new Disney Channel Original Movie, “16 Wishes,” will premier on on the network on June 25th. DR plays the lead character, Abby Jensen, a girl who’s been planning her sweet sixteen, well, for most of her life. But when the big day finally arrives, and she adds her 16th wish to the secret list she’s been keeping, a whole slew of crazy events begin. Including getting revenge on her arch enemy and even getting a total make over for herself. Of course nothing is ever that simple – but you guys will just have to wait a bit to get the rest of the story.

Until then, you can check out a bunch of new pictures that are out from the set of the movie. Debby looks super cute as usual. And her co-stars are pretty easy on the eyes too!

This is a very exciting career move for Debby, and we here at ClevverTV couldn’t be happier for her – off camera, she is such a genuinely sweet person. That said, don’t forget to mark those calendars for June 25th and the premier of Debby Ryan’s DCOM, “16 Wishes.”

This episode has two names- one from Disney “Show and Tell” and I’ve seen it called “Showgirls” on other TV listing sites but no matter what it’s called it should be funny.

Zack, ever girl crazy, convinces Cody to sneak out after curfew so they can catch the Starlight Follies show. They manage to make it past the security guards (with great, if not too convincing, mustaches and sailor uniforms) and get into the show and then they see something that surprises them. They think that one of the show girls is their teacher, Miss Tutweiller. Meanwhile, London and Bailey are convinced that Miss Tutweiller and Mr. Moseby are dating and they are trying to prove it.

Last week Bailey tried to cozy up to Cody to win a contest with London over whose animal (her pig vs London’s pampered pooch) was smarter while Zack was attracted to a rich passenger. London was again showcased as a goofy, not too bright, spoiled rich girl, almost a cartoon of herself the way the show’s writers are playing her. I hope she gets more substance as the show goes on. I miss her interactions with Maddie, but hey she (Ashley Tisdale) is busy with HSM3…wonder when we will see her visit the ship?
